But enought about me. Let's talk about this newsletter.

The Microbusiness News Briefs is the sister publication of The MicroEnterprise Journal. It has been in publication since September 2002.

I launched the Weekly News Briefs in order to stay in touch with those of my long term readers (many of whom had been with me since 1999, when I first started covering microbusiness news) who didn't choose to subscribe to The MicroEnterprise Journal after it became a paid subscription publication.

For awhile, I had hoped to use these weekly news snippets in order to convert more paying subscribers. Gradually, though, I realized that for many (very) busy microbusiness owners, these bite-sized bits of news were just as much as they wanted to read and enough to help them feel they are staying on top of things.

And, well ... here we are.
